Raising a family is like living alternately in heaven and hell. But because you love your family so much, all the pain is worth going through if it means seeing your family happy together.

The Downside of Raising a Family

Kids Grow Up…

Sad but true. Once, your kids were all cute little babies with toothless smiles and ready hugs to greet you at first sight. These babies then grow up into toddlers, sweeter than ever and definitely not shy to tell you “I love you”. And they say this as often as they can.

But then they start growing up and you feel less and less significant in their respective lives. All they seem to care about is dating and going out with kids their age. Hanging out with the family now seems to fall under the “uncool” classification of activities.

And So Does the Expenses…

Raising a family costs money. That’s why there’s such a concept called family planning in third world nations and the one-child policy in China. As the number of members of the family increases, as the kids grow older year after year, your expenses grow as well.

If once, all you had to worry about is disposable diapers and milk for the baby, now you have to contend with tuition fees, clothing and other miscellaneous expenses.

The Upsides of Raising a Family

It’s Nice to See You’ve Raised Good Children

There’s probably nothing as pleasing to a parent than seeing their children grow up, graduate with flying colors, get a satisfying, high paying job and raise their own family. Seeing them do all those things and more make all the years of hard work definitely worth it.

It’s Nice to Feel They Love You Back

As they grow up into adulthood, you are also adding on the years and there shall come a time that the tables will turn and it’s your kids who’ll be taking care of you this time around.

At this point of your life, it’s certainly gratifying to feel that your kids love you so much that they want to take care of you now that you’re feeling a bit helpless. It’s when the chips are down that parents are able to feel the strength of their children’s love.

At times, raising a family may seem like more a punishment rather than a reward but parents shouldn’t give up right away because your children are blessings in your life…and if you find that hard to believe, well, maybe, these blessings are still in disguise.

Cleaning is important, especially around the kitchen. Keeping the surrounding and your cooking devices clean is equivalent to taking care of your family’s health. Cooking with unsanitary environment will generate bacteria that will then contaminate the food that you prepare.

That is very true with Weber grill. You need to always keep it dirt-free so as not to put your family’s well being on the line. Grills, most especially, acquire grease and residue buildup almost instantly. Every time you use your grill, the juice and charred bits of meat are left behind on the grill rack, and sometimes, right through the burners, if you are using a gas grill. That is why it is important that you clean at the grill rack after each and every use of your Weber grill.

Aside from that, there is the fact that charred bits that are left behind on the grill rack become fire hazard in the long run. With them, flame-ups and fire flare ups become common.

To keep your mind free of worries, here’s how to clean the grill rack including some tips that will guide you through a bacteria and residue free cooking device:

* Do not let the dirt accumulate before you clean up. Remember that grease is more difficult to scrub when it’s aged. Always clean the grill rack right after every use.

* When you start cleaning, make sure that the grill rack is cool enough to handle yet warm enough to keep the charred food particles easier to scrub off.

* Submerge the grill rack on a soap-and-water solution. Make sure that the basin you are putting the grill into is big enough to accommodate the size of your grill rack. Leave the grill rack onto the soapy water for at least fifteen minutes. After that, you are ready to scrub.

* If the dirt in your grill rack is not cleanable with just ordinary soap and water, you may use chemical cleaners or a variety of household cleaners. Just make sure that you read the Weber grill manual thoroughly to see if a specific cleaning brand is required with a specific unit. Weber grills are made differently. Some are made with sensitive components that you cannot use chemical cleaners on or scrub off just like that.

* Take out a reliable scrubber to brush the dirt out. Make sure that before doing so, you have read the user’s manual. Some Weber grill racks have specific cleaning requirements. You must adhere to each of them to ensure that you are not damaging your unit while keeping it clean.

* When all the food particles and grease and meat deposits are off the grill, rinse it with clean water. Make sure that it is free of any trace of soap. After that, start drying out the grill rack. Use a piece of cloth to pat dry the grill rack. Otherwise, you may hang it in a spacious place where it will dry in itself.

* Cleaning your Weber grill rack may take some time. Make sure that you plan the cleaning ahead. Depending on the amount of gunk you are going to clean up, you might need a long while soaking, scrubbing, rinsing, and drying your grill rack clean.
